Up-Up and Away...

All vehicles today will have no choice but to use the current fuel based on petroleum. This is due to the technological achievements of electrical and solar powered vehicles are still not efficient in most factors such as power to weight ratio as well as producing it commercially. As there is no other options, we have to depend on the "black gold" all the time and keep absorbing the increase of price of oil.

For us here in Malaysia, the fortunate ones, the effect of fuel price increased is being felt at a minimum (only 10sen per litre). However, in other countries, the hike is so high that it actually burdens the consumers. That is why we Malaysian should be grateful that the increase is minimal.

Nevertheless, we should not take this as a passing event. In reality, as a consumer (especially to the bikers)there must be solution for the usage of petrol should be at the optimum. This could be done by ensuring all aspects of the engine is in the best of condition. In other words, make sure that the carburation system, the air filter, the internal of your engine as in the pistons, valves, spark plugs, gaskets, and other external parts as in your chains and bearings are in a good working condition (regularly greased and lubricated) as it also influence the loss of power dilivery to the back wheel. Not forgetting the brake systems that need to be checked regularly ensuring it performs well.

In short, a good maintained bike could churn out good overall performance and able to lower the cost of fuel management. For those who are more concious, will definately look out for alternative equipment that could optimise the usage of fuel such as installing the fuel molecule expander which could contribute the saving of fuel consumption. We would only hope that all that is laid out today would open our minds among us bikers in battling the rising of fuel prices, so that we could...

save our budgets!
