Due to this uncertain scenario, DUNIA MOTO has initiated some interim cost savings measures. The immediate act is the conversion of monthly Dunia Moto to be a bimonthly publication. This arrangement starts with a May/June 2001. With the next being July/August and so on. We hope that the macro economy for our beloved country can turn around and with an improved business environment, DUNIA MOTO can revert to be a monthly magazine again, God willing.

We really apologise to you, the loyal readers and supporters, for this disappointment but this is the best short term alternative for DUNIA MOTO. There is however a silver lining in every cloud. Norrick and Amy had found a new business to venture into. They will however, still be contributing and assisting DUNIA MOTO in projects on and off. We wish them the very best in their new venture.

Our Web Master, Sifu Sham ZX11 a no stranger to most of you will be doubling up as the Editorial Consultant starting June 2001. Let us welcome him in a big way through email or letters.

As a recognised leader in the motorcycle publication and racing business, DUNIA MOTO takes pride to be appointed the ‘race coordinator’ for the up coming movie "KL menJERIT’, a movie about Shahrol whose used to be an illegal racer in Kuala Lumpur town. Finally, Shahrol strives hard as a legal racer to win the "BTSC-Dunia MotoGP Championship 2001."

"KL menJERIT’ is produced by Tayanggan Unggul Sdn Bhd (subsidiary of MEASAT), scripted by Badaruddin Azmi (Badar), and starring Rosyam Nor (Shahrol), Nisdawati Nazaruddin (Ayu), faizal Hussein (Pit), Hasnut Rahmat (Tun), Liza Hanim (Linda), Danny X-Factor (Mamat), Saiful Apek Senario (Saiful) and special appearance of Datuk Rahim Razali.

All of you are welcome to the racing sequence shoot on June 22nd and June 24th, 2001 at Batu Tiga Speedway Circuit (BTSC). Don't forget to bring all your friends.
