Think Rationally!

Everytime Malaysian welcoming the festive celebration such as Hari Raya or Chinese New Year, accident cases on the roads will increase automatically. Hence, the government acted through local enforcementin the guise of Police and Road Transport Department to combat these problems.

As we all have known, every festive season our Police will launch a nation wide Ops Static and such. However, what we would liketo stress here is that, there's a small decrease in the cases of motorcycle accidents. Even though this figures shows some relief, it still needto be improve.

How would we do it? Any problems that arise in our multi cultural society must be taken heed by each and every level of Malaysians. It means that it is crucial for every road users to realize that the importance of respecting each others and create the assistance among needy roadusers.

Lets give an example, if we are riding in the dark, we saw another motorcycle that doesn't display the rear lights. Therefore, we need to inform him of the bike problem. (Irregardless his/hersawareness of this defect) Others would say, it is not a crucial factors but cases of hit and run are actually heavily related to failure of rear lights performing.

Not discounting the facts that most of the riders purposely disconnecting thier brake/rear lights due influence from friends. They just like to be 'brutal' or 'macho'but it is such a stupid way to be so. What's the use of not having rear lights if our body is lying motion lesson the roads due to being hit from behind?

Therefore, I'm begging the bikers out there, especially the young ones, think rationally before any modification is done to your bike. Our lives is not cheap...

...it is not sold in any spare parts shop!
